Business Development Staff

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • - Proactively solicit and procure new accounts while growing existing accounts
  • - Prepare proposals for clients and potential customers
  • - Provide excellent customer service & complain handling
  • - Ensure that each client is satisfied with Gorry Gourmet Catering
  • - Maintain a client list, telephone logs, inquiry logs, etc
  • - Perform basic accounting functions as they relate to sales contracts
  • - Plan, supervise and evaluate the contracted events

Requirements:

  • - College or University graduate preferably in a hospitality/marketing/communication program
  • - Previous sales experience, catering, restaurant, event planning, hospitality industry experience a must
  • - Demonstrate can-do attitude
  • - Target oriented
  • - Familiarity with Sales and Marketing tools
  • - Strong people skills & Persuasive
  • - Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
  • - Ability to focus attention on details.
  • - Ability to work well under pressure.
  • - Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers
  • - Familiar with MS Office & Internet
